RAAM NIVAS

This Akshaya Tritiya was a very special day for me . I have never enjoyed so much in Akshaya Tritiya . My aunt invited us to a house in balygunge place called Raam Nivas . She mentioned about this place to me before but i was unable to find out a right time to visit this place . This house called " RAAM NIVAS " is actually the house to Dr. J N Dasgupta who was a very dedicated shishya of our beloved Thakur . This house was built with the instructions given by Gurudev . I reached there at 12 pm when kirtana was going on in full swing . There is a huge vibration of GURUDEV still present in that house and it will remain forever . Gurudev has spent a lot of time in that house and has established many Gods and Goddesses in the house temple while staying there on the 1st floor . According to Gurudevs instruction the satyanarayan sinni < food offered to NARAYAN > which is used in Jadavpur Ashram every day during Satyanarayan puja in the evening would be made here in Raam Nivas first and then it would be taken to Jadavpur Asram and offered to LORD SATYANARAYAN for the sandhya satyanarayan pujan . Due to unavoidable circumstances this rule is not followed now instead the required money is provided from Raam Nivas to Jadavpur Ashram for the daily Satyanarayan Cinni . There are a lot of photos present in Raam Nivas of our beloved Gurudev and also a stone Idol of lord Kaivalyanath present in the main hall on 1st floor .

While talking to one of Gurdev`s shishya I came to know that there is a tree present in this house which was planted by gurudev and which is found only in Vrindavan .

The story goes like this :

Once Gurudev and Dr. J N Dasgupta went out for an evening walk and suddenly they saw a young boy coming towards them carrying some plants in a basket . Dr. babu wanted to take one plant but gurudev informed him to take a specific plant form that basket . So Dr. babu took out the plant and when he turned to pay the boy the amount for the plant but he found nobody was there .
This is the specific tree I was taking about previously which is found in Vrindavan only .
There is an emblem of Kaibalya Shakti present on top of the house exactly located on top of the room where Gurudev used to stay .
I would love to visit Raam Nivas once again if and only if Gurudev wants me to .

GURUSEVA

There are many stories revolving Thakur where thakur says that HE is there in the PICTURE and looking after every one . There are also many stories where few devoties gets message from THAKUR through HIS HOLY picture .

Thakur always used to say that " AMI APNADER OI CHOBITEI ACHI " < I am always in the picture > . By saying this GURUDEV have showed us the way to do GURU SEVA always by taking proper care of the picture .
Let me take an exaple of a small story :

Once GURUDEV visited a bhaktas house in the afternoon . The Landlord of the house was at work at that time , only the female members were present . Th land lady was in seventh heven when she saw THAKUR entering the premises of the house . She arranged a bed for GURUDEV in the THAKUR GHOR < room used for puja > . GURUDEV went and sat on the bed . The land lady looked at THAKUR and asked thakur why HE is looking so pale and thin . Thakur looked at the small temple present inside the room and replied that the land lady was not taking proper care of him and his food , that is why HE has become pale and thin . The land lady was taken aback . She was feeling very ashamed aswell as had a question in her mind that how is it possible when GURUDEV doesn`t even stay with them .
GURUDEV realised that the question raised in the landladys mind and pointed towards the Thakur ghor < temple > . There was a picture of THAKUR and many other DEV DEVI ,
Some sweet was there on a small copper plate and a glass of water half filled . A group of ants were happily feeding on the Naivadya < food > provided on the copper plate in front of the picture of GURUDEV . The land lady finished doing puja early in the morning and through out the day the prasadam will stay there till evening before the sandhya arati .

Pointing this GURUDEV said " SHEVAR MOTON SHEVA KORTE PARLE KORBEN , NAHOLE KORBEN NAH " < if you are taking care of some one dont do it half heartedly > .
The land lady started crying and fell on GURUDEVs lotus feet . She realised her mistake and also realised that GURUDEV is very much present in the photo aswell . Having a photo at home is as good as having Thakur at home .

Moral of the story : No different between PHOTO and GURUDEV Himself .

There was a Lady who used to continiously speak to gurudev like we converse with our friends , parents, siblings etc . She considered Gurudev as her husband and used to take care of GURUDEV like nobody else . < please forgive me , canot remember the name > . There are others who gets messages through the picture as i have mentioned above and some from mear thin air .

There is another story where GURUDEV came to a lady`s house and gave her diksha .
After few months when she and her husband went to a renouned bhaktas place in patna where they were having an GURU-UTSAVA , they came to know that gurudev left HIS physical form 12 years back .

There are hundreds and thounds of other stories published , unpublished of GURUDEV showering HIS blessings .

GURUDEV always used to say : " EI SHORIR TAKE LOIYA TANATANI KOREN KANO , AMI TO OEE POTEI ACHI " . < No need to run beyond this physical body of mine , i am very much present in the picture itself > . So HE always has HIS eyes on us . I believe strongly that we can also experience that kind of relationship and bonding with GURUDEV if we get involved or drown in the HOLY SOMA RASA OF NAMA . We can also hear and see gurudev clearly if we submit ourselves completely at his HOLY LOTUS FEET .

Gurudev used to stay at HIS bhaktas house as a member of the house and used to take care of every small thing . GURUDEV can be considered as the head of the house like the same way we have our grand parents taking control of everything , because everthing that we have in this mundane world is provided by HIM like parents , kids , wife , money , fame , prosperity , house . We are just given an opourtunity to enjoy all this but we do not own any of this . Its HE who is the soul owner of everything that we have in our life . If we can keep this in mind and fulfill out duties then few of the ripus can be taken care of . We can also take care of GURUDEV`S picture the same way we take care of out parents . Then we can surely realise that slowly and steadily HE has become a member of the family and we can develop the same bondage we have with our parents . This will definitly help us in our future developments .....................................

PRARADDHA BHOG

If we see people around us we will find that there are so much of difference . One person is born in a filthy rich family born with a silver spoon in their mouth . Some people are in middle class family and some are from such a background that they don't even know their father`s or mother`s name or unable to get a proper square meal a day . Do we even think why does these things happen when some people have abundance of food and on the other hand some are fighting for a loaf of bread .

This happens because of Praraddha . Karmas from the previous births effect our present birth . Now the praraddha from previous births will come in picture in different ways . We might find some one who is very rich but he is alive only on half boiled food or shattered with different kind of diseases or we might find some one who is very poor but has no other problem like disease . Different disease that we suffer from are also because of the karmas of past birth . Laws of karma has its own ways of taking out interest form the karmas that we do . The bhog can be provided to us for any specific karma that we do may be in this birth or after 5 to 10 births depending on the correct time .

Now the purpose of starting this topic is to show how THAKUR is different from any other MAHAPURUSH . THAKUR unlike Jeasus Christ , SAI BABA etc etc ** have not taken out sufferings from the BHAKTAS life in the blink of an eye most of the time . HE preferred explaining them the real fact behind the sufferings . In GURUDEV`s Teachings it reflects the ways of the VDEDAS , SHASTRAS , PURANS ... GURUDEV indirectly showed the ways to follow the Sanantana Dharma so that we can learn to live our life in such a way so that we do not create much Karma Beeja . Gurudev always mentioned to tolerate or face the sufferings and not to keep a reflection of that sufferings in out mind . Not to crib about our sufferings and think about it much . If its happening let it pass by . Just remember the HOLY NAME of GURUDEV and face it . HE insisted more on creating a lion out of us mentally . HE mentioned times and after that if we have full faith and devotion on Gurudev no suffering will be a sufferings any more . It will be like a passing by moment or time .

Because when we are in the state of complete devotion and complete surrender we will be leading life on this planet but out mind and thought will always be there at HIS HOLY FEET . Rest will be taken care by HIM .

So we need to be careful about the karmas that we do or we are doing so that we do not create any beeja which will bring us sufferings later on . Following the ways of SANATANA is the only way we can do so .. DHARMA RAKSHA is the only way that will provide us peace and pure out body heart and mind . < soul is always pure > .

Blindly follow the ways of GURUDEV . Having blind faith on HIM will take us to that state of mind and will also open ways . GURUDEV had differnt sadhak shishayas from differnt branches of sadhana apart from grihastya shishyas . Everyone of them had different methods of sadhana but one common thing , that is GURUDEV . This shows us that HE is not restricted to any specific marg < ways of sadhana > like Vaishnava , Shaktya , Shaiva , Ganpataye , Brahma Sadhaka . He is sadhana HIMSELF . HE is the PATH , HE is THE DESTINATION . HE is SAGUNA , HE is NIRGUNA . It not possible to understand what GURUDEV is and its foolish to count the drops of water in an ocean as HE is the OCEAN HIMSELF .

Just concentrate to take a dip in that HOLY OCEAN and be one with it .
Be one with the holy name as there is no difference between the holy name and Gurudev .

Sanatana Dharma

SANATANA DHARMA the oldest and the greatest Relegion in the entire universe . I am not stating this only because I am a hindu by birth but because of its Own Greatness . The main principle of sanatana dharma is all human beings will act according to dharma < dharmacharana > without going against the law of nature so that no karma beej is produced and no body will stay hungry .

Now a days every where we see we can experience that by some way or other we are actually breaking the laws of nature and we are actually apart of this , directly or indirectly .

Polluting the Vayu and Akash tatwa : < air and atmosphere >
Polluting the Jal tatwa : < water >
Polluting the prithibi tatwa : < earth >

We cannot just fiddle with the tatwas and get away with it ..
Mother nature will balance it out and she has her own ways like natural disasters .
Everything will be balanced and we will be solely responsible for our own destruction if we do not try to change hence forth . We humans are provided this earth to survive and enjoy nature ..instead of that because of greed we are actually harassing the wonders of nature provided to us .

Still its not late .. we still can save our selves < nature > by following Sanatan Dharma . Its impossible to start following all the rules of life from tomorrow but at least we can take an effort to do so .
Our beloved Gurudev Sree Sree RAAM THAKUR always insisted on following teh rules and laws of Sati or Sanatana dharma . He tried teaching the ways using small stories . Gurudev himself is the biggest example of living and walking Dharma . The messages of VED VANI are nothing but ways you can lead you life for dharma . Dharma raksha is a word of great importance ...may be not for so called technological and fashionable advanced modern society . To understand this word we actually need to go deep into dharma just to understand the way of life according to Sharstra and Vedas . Dharmacharan if done properly will not create Karma Beeja for any karma we do . If Karma Beeja is not produced we will not fall in the cycle of death and birth and suffer .

Manu Smriti considered as the Ultimate Law Book has all the instructions on how to lead life according to dharma explaining what needs to done from the moment we wake up till we go to sleep . Following it is not easy for us all of a sudden but we can definitely try and include few ways in our daily routine . Doing dharma chara will directly bring us under the direct blessing s of favour or GOD and GURU .

I have read some books written by our beloved gurubhais which has some information about Gurudevs stress on Stanatana or Sati dharma but not much information was provided in any of the books .

These things or understanding will develop slowly as we get more and more attached to Lord Satyanarayan himself . He is standing with his arms wide to embrace us and release us from this suffering but still we run away from it or cannot see it .
Let us all repeat the holy Mahamantra provided to us and do your karma is an honest way and try to know you dharma more . I am sure if we really want to know or follow SANATANA DHARMA Lord Satyanarayan will definitly show us the direction or arrange a way .

Lets us all pray to the GURUDEV to remove this curtain and show us light ............
Let us pray so that we can respect mother nature < Prakriti >
Prakriti itself is mother Adya Shakti .
Let there be light of knowledge .

Different avatars of GOD takes birth on earth and they have different ways of bringing people on the right track that leads to GOD .
Our beloved Gurudev had his own ways . His main purpose was to stay among general people and teach them or show them the the ways in which God can be realized .
But what many people missed out was that God was showing them the way to realize HIM . HE showed us many simple ways to be happy in this Kaliyuga by maintaining few simple things which our complicated and corrupted mind didn`t allow out eyes to see .
Gurudev preferred to roam from one bhakts house to another rather then sitting in an ashram . Indirectly GURUDEV said " Look at ME and learn the ways , you do not need to read any book " .
Those who understood and followed the steps have achieved things beyond imagination .
These things are much more valuable then any worldly possessions .
We run around for money , property ,fame through out our life not realizing the fact that actually nothing is ours . We can not actually take anything beyond this life . Our foolish mind doesn`t realize that life has a greater meaning then running behind success , money , fame . The time should be used properly to realize GOD . We do all other works in the beginning and the middle of our life span and when we realize that time is comming up we start taking GOD`S name in the end that is also with a purpose in mind to make a reservation in heaven or to get out of the cycle of birth and death .
Why do we keep the most important and hardest work of taking gods name for the latter part of life , when our bones doesnt have enough strength to visit the TIRTHA STHANS ?
In BHAGAVATHAM its mentioned clearly that vasna for any other thing other then MOKSHA is not good .

So please utter the Maha Naama and free your soul from attachments .
We just blindly need to follow the steps and utter the name and the rest of the work will be taken care by the LORD himself .

Bhuvneshvari: The Queen of the Universe

* Bhuvaneshvari is the Queen or ruler (feminine, Ishvari) of the universe or realm of beings (Bhuvana). She is the Divine Mother as the Queen of all the worlds. All the universe is her body and all beings are ornaments on her infinite being. She carries all worlds as a flowering of her own Self-nature. She is thus related to Sundari and to Rajarajeshvari, the supreme Lady of the Universe.



* The Goddess represents space. Space is the Mother or Matrix in which all creatures come into being. She is the field in which all things grow. She is the receptive spirit who gives space to allow all things their place and function. She is the cosmic womb that gives birth to all worlds. As space, Bhuvaneshvari is complementary to Kali who is time; they are the two main faces of the Goddess as both the infinite and the eternal. Bhuvaneshvari creates the stage on which Kali performs her dance of life and death. At the stage Bhuvaneshvari is also the witness, the observer and the enjoyer of the dance.


* As Kali creates events in time, so Bhuvaneshvari creates objects in space. All events are merely episodes in the Devine Mother Kali who is time. All places are merely phases of the dance of the Divine Mother Bhuvaneshvari who is space. The Goddess is the place, the field, the matrix in which we act to manifest the Gods. Knowing her as the ground on which we stand and the reality which pervades us, we gain the capacity (Shakti) to accomplish the highest actions, which are the practice of Yoga. Returning to her passive presence, we ourselves become the field in which the Gods, the cosmic powers, can be born and assume their roles in the cosmic creative unfoldment.


* Bhuvaneshvari is the cosmos (Bhuvana) personified as Goddess. Worshipping her promotes a cosmic vision and absolves us from the narrowness of opinion and belief. She helps us go beyond all identifications with creed, class, race, sex, nation and religion, to a universal understanding. She gives us world vision, a global understanding, and a sense of the infinite.


* As the power that measures out the universe, Bhuvaneshvari is called Maya, which also means illusion. When things are measured we are in their limited forms and forget the underlying unitary space in which they appear. This is how illusion arises. All manifest forms are merely waves in the infinite space of the Divine Mother. We must learn to see the space of the Mother, which is the embrace of consciousness, in all apparent objects of world, and no longer take their diverse forms as reality.


* As Kali is the power of Action (kriya-shakti) and Sundari is the power of Knowledge (jnana-shakti), Bhuvaneshvari is the power of Love (iccha-shakti). Love creates space and provides freedom. It does not limit or try to posses, which is the action of selfish desire. Yet the space of love is not an empty or unfriendly space, it is a space that nurtures and gives room to grow and flower. If love does not give space, it is not a Divine Love.


* Bhuvaneshvari has a form like Sundari, whom she resembles in many ways, which reveals her beneficent nature. She has the colour of the rising sun, with the crescent moon on her head, with four hands and three eyes. She holds in two hands the noose and the goad. With her other two hands she gives the gestures that grant boons and dispel fears.

She is the Eerswari for all 14 Lokas.

Also Bhuvanam means Bhoomi, Fire , Water, etc…. So Bhuvaneswari is she who is the leader or who made all these things.

* The events of life flow down the stream that took its course at your birth (Prarabdha). Accept them without regret, take heed not to force the hand of Fate.

* Do the duties of life as penance, leaving the rest to the Guide - who will protect you from all the imbalance of prosperity and adversity.

* Live consciously in God with according ableness. The events come owing to the urges that initiated this life; meet them with resignation to the Guide, do your bit to the best of your ability, but give away neither to elation nor to depression.

* Man can have no control over the events of life till he shall have completely paid all his dues brought forward from the previous life.

* The word 'Samsara' means the world of becomings that obscures and eclipses Being, and consists of joys and sorrows that appear on the surface of the mind (only to disappear).

* Do not distress yourself : whatever God does must necessarily contribute to your good.

* He that adores the Lord with single-minded devotion does verily make a clean sweep of all the accumulated debris of life.

* Marriage, birth and death are all fated events, Fate being the arbiter in respect of each and every item of one's position in life. The time and the shape of things to be are all predetermined. Be in all circumstances vigilant with a view to submitting yourself to the God of Truth Who gives all the awards through the mechanism of Destiny that does never fail.

* The heart burns night and day in the fire of the faggot of desire. Have trust in God. All that rise and set are unreal. Know what is real and what unreal and you shall have done with your delusion.

* God and His Name are one - not different. To live by the Name is to abide in God. By uninterrupted abidance therein one is able to cross the bounds of dualistic knowledge and attain Peace and bliss.

* It is egoism in man that splits the unity of Being into kinsmen and strangers. In truth, no body in the world is other than your Self.

* No body can escape the consequences of his actions as determined by Fate, which should therefore be accepted as a matter of course. A man reaps as he has sown.

* Adore the God of Truth. He will always sustain and protect you. As fate wills it so are people encumbered by the experiences of life, which now give satisfaction, now discontent.

* Don't worry. Always try to live in submission to God. The world is a delusion which disappears as soon as the destined time series terminates. It is wrong to distress yourself over what fate has in store for you.

* Always bear with what fate offers you in the right spirit. So will you have God's mercy.

* Be content with your portion in life as meted out by Nature. Thiswise can you release yourself from destiny and attain eternal Truth.

* If you want to serve the God of Truth you should do so by living in submission to Him, bearing patiently with the forces of the natural instincts which rule creaturely existence with delusive egoism and cognate effects.

* In the three worlds that be, there is none but Truth that is your very own, Truth which is Providence as well as Dispensation.

* Man is bound by the ties not of wedlock but of cravings. Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva and the other Gods lived a married life. As the Elders say, as you have sown so do you reap.

* All maladies are curved if you constantly recite the Holy Name with absolute trust in Him.

* This world of Ignorance revolve on the wheels of Time. No one can interface with its course.

* Everyman would teach others; few can teach themselves.

* Always recite the Name ; to do so is single minded devotion. The acquired dispositions become a spent force only through patience : everything in its time. The Name alone is Truth ; naught else but the Name endures in this world.

* Fate is the arbiter for all and duly gives unto each what falls due to him. It is no good giving thought to that. None can escape the concatination of the destined events of his life.

* People are subject to birth and death owing to their allegiance to Appearance and cannot get release therefrom except by being devoted to Reality. But then Fate bears fruit everywhere.

* All people are ruled in this world by Destiny. Whatever Fate offers you at whatever hours, must needs be to your good.

* Marriage takes place just when it must, according to the decree of Providence, which cannot be interfered with.

* If you keep doing your immediate duties here on earth with surrender to God and goodwill to all, He will forever be looking to your good by removing all your wants and granting you absolute repose in Him.

* Accept the predestined portion of your life with cheerfulness.

* Fate alone, and nothing else, is responsible for all that befalls you. In this human predicament patience is your only friend.

* The world is like a dream where people are embogged by their illusory ego-sense, and wherefrom they are saved by single-minded devotion to the Lord.

* If you act with resignation to God, the forces of destiny will go over your head.

* Man looks before and after owing to having been enmeshed in the net of egoistic becomings.

* Always recite the Holy Name : the Name, alone, will remove all your wants and make your mind still.

* Do what you would with calm conviction. Indecision leads you nowhere. Stick to one thing, whatever be your choice.

* Find fault with none, be angry with none. Be always alive to your duty of serving the Lord. The servants of the Lord are always free.

* The world is a magic show, run by the cosmic forces which admit of no individual freedom of action.

* This world of Ignorance revolves on the wheels of Time. No one can interfere with its course.

* Do not worry over God's dispensations. Truth alone is the ultimate Goal. Forsake It not, but exert yourself always to follow Its course.

* Patience is a priceless possession. Exert yourself always to nourish it.

A FOOL`S REALIZATION..............

When I first started this blog I was under the impression that I created it ........

But I was so so wrong .

After the last post " A FEW THOUGHT " I tried to pen down so many thoughts , but trust me I couldnt , I just couldn`t. Every time I wrote a paragraph , I felt something is missing , and that some thing is not " just " a small thing , it was like a resistive force . Trust me I couldnt publish those posts , I didnt understand what was missing and why was I not satisfied with what ever i was writing ...

Then I realized that its not me who started or created this blog . Its Gurudev himself . Without HIS wish I couldn`t have written a single word on this blog .
What ever is there on this blog wouldnt have been possible with out HIS divine blessing and his wishes . I am just a puppet of my BELOVED SHRI GURUDEV , and wish to stay like this till the end of existence of my soul on the lotus feet of my MAHA VISHNU ..

A BOOK ON THAKUR

There is a book written by Rahini kumar mazundar , named as "Sri guru raam thakur "

I am in absolute love with this book ,
When ever i get time i read it.
The most amazing fact is whenever I read this book I get new information about my beloved GURUDEV , i don`t know how ?
Apart from getting new information there is a specific reason why i love it . I have never in my life felt so connected to a book or scripture like this . For me its a living being , a live source to connect to the all mighty Himself .
When ever I read it I feel I am there in each and every page and experiencing the same incidents along with the other guru bhai and bhaginis .
I picturaize the same situations and feel the same joy as if things are actually happening in front of my eyes .
I find joy in this , I feel blissful and connected to the lord himself .

It might sound crazy to some people but this really happens ,
I must have read the whole book over 10 times , still do the same things over and over again
I can actually see Gurudev sitting on the bed of rohini kumars house and the things that are going around ..
Rohini kumar gives me the eyes though which i see my lord , my lord in a human form ....
I laugh , I get emotional with tears in my eyes as the emotions flow out .
The book is like a gate way for me to experience the divine leela of my lord .
I would recommend people to read this book , and am sure that you people will also feel the same as you go through the pages .

That house in Muzaffarpur became a Leela bhumi for my gurudev . As you go through the book you will understand that gurudev was not only THE GURU for that family but was also a father and a friend as well .He used to take care of all the small things in the house like the main member of the family .So many important messages are conveyed through that book . You might also get some of questions answered .

It also has information about few great personalities like Charag Ali Bhai and Purnananda Brahmachari , and most important Thakur jis presonal information and HIS experience with HIS GURUMAHARAJ ,

Patience isn't virtue if we sit back and wait for our problems to solve itself. Time for patience is when we have tired every avenue possible and planted seeds of solutions....

O Rama ! Let me be free from the worldly bondage and let me realize the ultimate truth. I don't know about any real bliss, help me not be involved with anything else but to attain the real bliss. Oh Rama ! Guide me as to what I should do ???

When people hurt you, think of then as sandpapers. They rub and scratch you painfully: eventually you end up smooth and polished: and they end up worn out.
How people treat you is their karma; how you react is your karma.

The fact is, only a few are ready to pay the price for self-unfoldment. To realize God, the entire mind is to be given to him. The mind cannot be divided into different compartments. We cannot give some part of the mind to the enjoyment of worldly things and the rest to God. No, God wants to occupy the throne alone. He is in the sense a very jealous God. Therefore, if we want to realize Him, we must give our whole mind to Him

" Even sages like Vishvamitra and Parashara; who lead a life of extreme austerity merely by breathing Air or drinking Water ans eating Dry Leaves could not resist their lust for beautiful things and were deluded. It shall be great wonder and rather an impossibility if people surrounded by all types of foods and luxuries can control their sensual cravings. "

" Nothing in the world is ours, We are just trustees of the wealth which belongs to the Divine. Let use it put wisely. "

If we do not use Today better than Yesterday then why do we need Tomorrow for ? One day our entire life will flash in front of our eyes..... so we have to make sure it's worth watching.

One who doesn't attend his duty for Dharma and chants Ram Ram only is foolish and Drohi because lord Rama took birth to estblish Sanantan Dharma and he is giving guideline to us about Nishkam Karma.
Now this is the time to analyze ourselves for our Dutys and what we are doing for Dharma. Open your inner sight ans see yourself whether Rama likes worshiping him or following Dharma ??????

Do not lose the joy of what you already have, by desiring what you dont have. Face is that what you have now is also one of those many tings, you once desired.

If you oblige or help somebody do not expect anything in return; even a word.
How ever if; someone obliges you, even a small favor, be always grateful to him.
Then only it would be service to God.

The way a wife's faults ans vices are owned by her husband, likewise,
a disciple's collected sins are certainly acquired by the Guru......

He is the only wise person who; never speck's what ever he decides .....

Forgive what you can. Stove away what you can't. Use happy memories as a source of strength. Look for all the pebbles of happiness you can find. There isalways sunshine after the rain;
just have faith in HIM...........

The SADHAKA should have absolutely no DESIRE earthly or heavenly in his mind. When offered a boon, PRAHLHDA thankfully declined, saying that he who asks for anything in lieu of his SADHANA or BHAKTI is verily not a SADHAKA but a businessman, a VANIK. But when the Lord still persisted , PRAHLADA said, " I pray you to destroy my desire for asking, there be any. This is the only boon I ask of you. "

I am just a normal person who is trying to quench
his spiritual thrust. My main motive behind
starting this blog is to aware more people about
our Great gurudev Shri Ramthakur and to reach out
to more people who is unaware of the stotras and
other stuffs given by Gurudev to other gurubhai
and bhaginies , so that they can chant them and be
benefited . In this world where ever I see I find
people unhappy , sad , cribbing , searching for
peace . Nobody is happy and satisfied with what
ever they have and crib for more and this is the
soul reason that we are loosing all the peace that
we need in our life . Things are getting worse day
by day . The effect of Kali yuga is getting
dominant on us as we can see the effects and its
collateral damages around us . There is only one
way we can get this effect of kali yuga not affect
us is by submitting at the lotus feet of a SAD
GURU like SRI RAMTHAKUR , and by chanting the
MAHAmANTRA . This is the most short cut way of
getting peace in life by doing satsang and
attending kirtans of the mahamantra .It helps in
reducing the effects of the six Ripus like lust ,
greed , jealousy , anger etc. and slowly releases
you from the cocoon of attachments . I am no
teacher , no preacher , not a sadhu but try to
follow and understand what Gurudev have told us to
do . I am always in search of truth and Gnyana
(knowledge) and always at the lotus feet of my SAD

FEW RULES BY THAKUR

Before starting any kind of journey if few rules are followed then the reason for which the journey is made becomes successful . These methods were given to gurubhai Monoranjan Mukharjee by THAKUR himself .

They are as follows :

1. Sunday : hand on head (mathay hath ).
2. Monday : hand on face ( mukhe hath ).
3. Tuesday : hand on throat ( konthe hath ).
4. Wednesday : hand on heart ( hridoye hath ).
5. Thursday : hand on side ribs ( parshe hath ).
6. Friday : hand on ears ( kane hath ).
7. Saturday : hand on the back ( pristhe hath ).

On monday , friday , wednesday you should breathe through your left nostril ( bam nashika ) and on the other days through your right nostril ( dan nashika ) before starting for any place or going any where .

MAHA MANTRA

The Hare Krishna mantra, also referred to reverentially as the Maha Mantra ("Great Mantra"), is a sixteen-word Vaishnava mantra which first appears in the Kali-Santarana Upanishad, and which from the 16th century rises to importance in the Bhakti movement following the teachings of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.

According to Gaudiya Vaishnava theology, this higher consciousness takes the form of pure love of God (Krishna). The Hare Krishna mantra is composed of Sanskrit names in the vocative case: Hare, Krishna, and Rama .It is an anustubh poetry stanza:

"Hare" can be interpreted as either the vocative of Hari, another name of Vishnu meaning "he who removes illusion", or as the vocative of Harā, a name of Rādhā, Krishna's eternal consort or Shakti. Harā refers to "the energy of God" while Krishna and Rama refer to God himself, meaning "He who is All-Attractive" and "He who is the Source of All Pleasure". Rama can refer to Ramachandra or to Krishna as Radha-Raman, another name of Krishna meaning beloved of Radha. In the hymn Vishnu Sahasranama spoken by Bhishma in praise of Krishna after the Kurukshetra War, Krishna is also called Rama. Rama can also be a shortened form of Balarama, Krishna's first expansion.

The mantra is repeated, either out loud (kirtan), softly to oneself (japa), or internally within the mind .

Krishna consciousness is not an artificial imposition on the mind; this consciousness is the original energy of the living entity. When we hear the transcendental vibration, this consciousness is revived ... This chanting of 'Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare / Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare' is directly enacted from the spiritual platform, and thus this sound vibration surpasses all lower strata of consciousness - namely sensual, mental, and intellectual ... As such anyone can take part in the chanting without any previous qualification.

The mantra is first attested in the kalisaṇṭāraṇopaniṣad (Kali Santarana Upanishad), a Vaishnava Upanishad associated with the Krishna Yajurveda. In this Upanishad, Narada is instructed by Brahma :

Hearken to that which all Shrutis (the Vedas) keep secret and hidden, through which one may cross the Samsara (mundane existence) of Kali. He shakes off (the evil effects of) Kali through the mere uttering of the name of Lord Narayana, who is the primeval Purusha.

Narada asks to be told this name of Narayana, and Brahma replies:

Hare Krishna Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna Hare Hare, Hare Rama Hare Rama, Rama Rama Hare Hare; These sixteen names are destructive of the evil effects of Kali. No better means than this is to be seen in all the Vedas.

The mantra was popularized by Chaitanya Mahaprabhu roughly around 1500 CE when he began his mission to spread this mantra publicly to "every town and village" in the world, travelling throughout India, and especially within the areas of Bengal and Orissa. Some versions of the Kali Santarana Upanishad give the mantra with Hare Rama preceding Hare Krishna, and others with Hare Krishna preceding Hare Rama (as quoted above). The latter format is by far the more common within the Vaishnava traditions, within which it is a common belief that the mantra is equally potent when spoken in either order.

So let us all take the divine name of the LORD and fill our inner self with divine bliss , and may this state of bliss be everlasting .

What ever I have read about Thakur from the books written by our beloved Guru bhais , and felt myself ,i have realized that Thakur never told people to renounce the worldly things and become a sadhu . He always told that by simple ways of living and worship can also produce the same effect . A person can also be one with god while doing his worldly duties . That is the reason Gurudev gave us the mahamantra which has no rules attached to it . Its a siddha mantra and which can be repeated when ever and how ever desired . If we go through different shastras we will find that there are different rules attached to every sadhana and every mantra which can not be uttered every time and different rituals are attached to it . To provide relief to the bhakta gan our beloved Gurudev provided simple and easy way to achieve what sadhaks looks for by giving us the mahamantra .
Gurudev said the mahanam and GOD are the same and there is no difference between them . Gurdev`s whole body is made up of this mahanam only .He always told us that each and every GOD can be worshipped the way they want . No special ritual is required but the thing that is required is BHAKTI and purna samarapan . Love and bhava is beyond all rituals and I have seen the result my self . To give an example I will tell a small true story which happened in a small village in nowakhali . ( this story was told by my father )

There was a temple of RADHAN GOVINDA and a man used to take care of it .This man was full of devotion and loved RADHA GOVINDA more then anything . He always used to make KHICHURI ( mixture of rice and daal ) as prasad and while cooking he used to put the RADHA GOVINDA bronze idol inside the hot khichuri. and after the khichuri is prepared he used to take out the idol , clean it again and then place the bhog in front of the idol . Once a sadhu was passing by thet village and too shelter n that temple . when he saw that man putting the idol inside the hot khichuri the sadhu said " what are you doing , is this the way you give prasad to your beloved deity ? Thye will curse you and you will end up in hell " and then the sadhu showed him the proper way to give bgoga to RADHA GOVINDA . From the next day the man started doin as was told to him by the sadhu . at the end pf three days he was taking a nap in the afternoon while suddenly he saw bahgwan RADHA GOVINDA STANDING in front of him with a very pale face . HE was first very happy to get their darshan but was also sad to see their pale face and asked " what is wrong wid ur face bhagwan , why are you looking so week and pale ? . Lord GOVINDA said " Beta we are very hungry and feeling very weak as we didn`t have food for the last three days " . The man was shocked and said " but bhagwan I did give you prasad in the proper way as the sadhu instructed " . Then LORD said " Beta its not about ways , its about the devotion and bhakti with which you used to give us Bhog " . Saying these lines Lord vanished .The man started crying and from next day he again started the same procedure of giving bhog which he used to follow .

From this small incident we can understand that God always take happily what ever food we offer if done with proper devotion . GOD does not care whether the plate in which you offer prasad is made of gold or earthen pot or banana leaf . HE does not care whether the prasad is very costly or just as simple as sugar or a glass of water with a tulsi leaf in it . What he cares about is the bhakti with which we offer the prasad .
LORD SATYANARAYAN is responsible of every breath we take for our life and every thing we achieve in life and in return what best we can give him is pure devotion .
Pure devotion and total submission ( purna samarpan ) with out any tolerance . This is the only way we can be one with the LORD HIMSELF .
